We would like to invite you to participate in a research study taking place in the Vision Science Department.

We are currently recruiting healthy participants between the ages of 18-35 years old for a study titled, A Study of Time and Dose-Dependent Effects of Low Concentration Atropine on Accommodation and Pupil Size. This study will involve one 60-minute screening session (possibly exempt with a previous exam), and ten 15-minute testing sessions, over the course of 2 weeks. To thank you for your participation, you will be compensated at the rate of $15 per hour, for a total of $75.

During this time, you will be asked to instill a low-concentration dilating eye drop in one eye, and we will be measuring visual acuity, accommodation (focusing ability) as well as pupil size. You will also be asked to fill out a brief symptom questionnaire during the test sessions.
